Drop-Off Procedures

For the safety of all students, please follow these guidelines:

  • Enter the drop-off lane from the designated entrance
  • Pull forward as far as possible before stopping
  • Students should exit vehicles on the right side only
  • Drop-off begins at 7:15 AM
  • Do not leave your vehicle unattended in the drop-off lane

Pick-Up Procedures

Please follow these procedures during afternoon pick-up:

  • Enter the pick-up lane from the designated entrance
  • Display your car tag clearly in the windshield
  • Pull forward when directed by staff
  • Students will be escorted to vehicles
  • Pick-up begins at 3:15 PM

Parking Information

Visitor and student parking guidelines:

  • Visitor parking is available in the main lot
  • All visitors must check in at the main office
  • Student parking requires a permit (see office for details)
  • Do not park in fire lanes or handicap spaces without proper permit

Walking & Biking

For students who walk or bike to school:

  • Use designated crosswalks and sidewalks
  • Bike racks are available on campus
  • Students should arrive no earlier than 7:15 AM
  • Follow all traffic safety rules
  • Students must wear helmets when riding bikes (recommended)

Bus Service

Ridgeview College Prep offers bus transportation for eligible students. Bus service is provided to and from designated stops along established routes. Students must follow all bus rules and demonstrate safe, respectful behavior while riding the bus.

RCP Bus Rules

For the safety and comfort of all riders, students must follow these rules while using bus transportation. Failure to comply may result in loss of bus privileges.

Students must remain seated at all times while the bus is in motion

Keep hands, arms, and head inside the bus at all times

3

Use appropriate language and maintain a respectful volume

4

No eating or drinking on the bus (water bottles with secure lids are permitted)

Follow the driver's instructions immediately and respectfully

Keep the bus clean and free of trash and debris

7

No fighting, bullying, or physical contact of any kind

8

Respect the property of others and the bus itself

9

Only get on or off the bus at your assigned stop

Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before standing

11

No electronic devices may be played aloud (headphones required)

No vandalism or damage to the bus interior or exterior

13

Emergency exits are for emergencies only

14

Students are responsible for their assigned seat and behavior

Violations of bus rules will result in disciplinary action, including possible suspension of bus privileges

Important Notice

Riding the school bus is a privilege, not a right. Students who violate bus rules may lose their transportation privileges. Parents will be notified of any disciplinary actions.
